Nordic Camping & Resort announced this morning that it has agreed with Swedish migration agency Migrationsverket on a continued cooperation regarding housing for asylum seekers during fall 2015 until the end of January 2016. The agreement comprises seven of Nordic Camping sites.
The order value of these agreements is estimated to be around SEK 7m and can vary dependent on the occupancy rate. Migrationsverket has an option to extend the agreement during spring 2016.
For Nordic Camping, these agreements are a welcome revenue boost during a season that has usual low occupancy on those camping sites.
Nordic Camping’s CEO Tom Sibirzeff comments: “We have good experience from previous cooperations with Migrationsverket and naturally we want to continue to offer our sites for their purposes.”
