Swedish vehicle inspection specialist Opus announced this morning that the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) has signed a contract amendment to extend the term of the vehicle emission inspection contract with Opus Inspection for an additional two (2) years. All other terms of the contract remain the same.
“We are pleased that Metro has decided to extend our contract,” said Jim Sands, President of Opus Inspection. “Since 2007, we have strived to provide Nashville motorists with high quality, efficient inspection services. We hope to be able to continue as Metro’s contractor for many years to come.”
Opus Inspection operates 6 centralized facilities in Davidson County, Tennessee with 36 vehicle test lanes, and mobile testing systems. The company performs approximately 650,000 vehicle inspections per year under the exclusive contract with Metro.
