As we had come to expect, Nordic Camping & Resort announced a strong set of Q2 2014 results today. Revenues of SEK 15.9m increased by 9% versus Q2 2013. For H1 2014, sales increased by 29% compared with the same period one year ago. H1 2014 EBIT of SEK 0.8m marked a y-o-y improvement of SEK 2.1m.
Looking into Q3, the company says that sales in the important month of July increased by 20% with strong profitabilty. Furthermore, management seems optimistic about the co-operation with the Swedish Migration Board “Migrationsverket” (you can read more about this co-operation here: http://nordicinvestor.net/2014/07/31/nordic-camping/).
During Q2 2014, Nordic Camping started two new camping grounds which burdened EBIT. Those camping grounds are expected to contribute to increased sales and profit already in Q3.
Nordic Camping aims to continue its high growth rate in combination with good profitability which will include “good” acquisitions and “the right” investment into existing camping resorts, according to the company.
