Insider buying activity is many times a good sign for future share price performance. After all, management knows best what is going on inside a company and whether potential new contracts are around the corner.
We find it therefore encouraging to note that insiders in Cavotec have accumulated shares throughout 2014 and also very recently. The most recent transactions were made by Head of Investor Relations Michael Scheepers and Michael Widegren, the brother to the Chairman of Cavotec, Stefan Widegren (you can see the latest transactions here). Only in June, six insiders bought a total of 32,232 shares while one insider sold 10,000 shares.
We would not be surprise to see new orders for Cavotec’s innovative mooring solution MoorMaster coming soon. Also, Cavotec has a clear M&A strategy and target but has not announced any larger deal since its listing in Sweden three years ago.
