#G5 Entertainment: Rankings improving ahead of X-mas

newlogo G5 Entertainment games continue their improving trend witnessed in Q4 so far ahead of the all important holiday season 2013/2014.

With two new F2P games released in recent weeks and several Christmas-updates for its most successful games such as Secret Society, G5 Entertainment has done its utmost to be well positioned going into the prime time of app sales. Mainly thanks to the success of Secret Society, G5 can already now show an increasing amount of games among the top 25 and top 50 grossing games in the most important app markets. It is here where the money is made.

As you can see in the graph below, the improvement in Q4 so far compared with Q3 2013 is pretty obvious. In Q3 2013, G5 recorded revenues of SEK 21,9m and looking at the trend in Q4 we think it is reasonable to expect a higher number than that in Q4. In Q4 2012, G5 recorded revenues of SEK 20,7m, so the company seems back on track to deliver significant year-over-year growth. As usual, G5 will report preliminary revenues numbers 3-4 working days after the end of the quarter, which this time most likely means on January 3rd 2014.

All eyes are now on how the Christmas sales will be unfolding, with new record levels expected for the app market in total. History has shown that January usually is the strongest month of the year and with its updated gaming line-up, G5 seems well positioned to capitalize on that. 2014 could well be the year of revenge for the company.
