G5 Entertainment’s top title Secret Society is reaching new highs in the global top grossing charts. Having been a hit on iPad for quite some time now, the game is finally also climbing the charts on Google Play. Having had rankings fo around #200 – #400 in the most important countries before, Secret Society on Google Play is now ranked #61 in France, #81 in Spain, #87 in Russia, #117 in the UK, #120 in Germany and #137 in the US – with a steadily improving upward trend. This is extremely good news as G5 has been lagging with its Google Play part of the business, compared with its monetization success on iOS.
Following a successful update for the game on iOS last Thursday, Secret Society is currently ranked #34 in the all important US market, #28 in Germany, #25 in Korea and so on and so on.
The following tables are taken from www.g5info.se:
G5 Entertainment does not disclose how much money Secret Society actually generates but as we have reasoned in an article from late April 2013 (http://nordicinvestor.net/2013/04/28/g5-entertainment-secret-society-saves-party/) , industry stories suggest that it could be around SEK 8-10m a quarter, from its current performance on iOS that is. Add to that the contribution from the Google Play version and all of a sudden we might be heading for a nice H2 2013 performance operationally.
G5 continues on its profitable growth track and we see the recent sluggish share price performance as a great entry point ahead of the upcoming relisting to Nasdaq OMX. Foreign investors and bigger investment funds will want to jump onboard this great growth case and we are convinced that G5’s management has many more aces up its sleeves.
