Sweden listed mobile gaming developer and publisher G5 Entertainment is testing the waters with a new free-to-play game.
As Nordic Investor has learned, G5 Entertainment has launched Pet Zoometery in Canada, a country which is popular as test market among gaming companies. US mobile gaming outlet Glu Mobile usually releases its games in Canada several weeks before the global roll-out, and now G5 seems to do the same.
On the website of app analytics powerhouse App Annie, the information about Pet Zoometery can be studied in detail (http://www.appannie.com/app/ios/pet-zoometery/).

● Complete over 100 quests…with more coming in regular free updates!
● Game Center Support”
It remains to be seen when the game will be launched on a global scale but it should not be too far in the future. This is certainly positive news as G5 has had great success with its free-to-play games so far (taking aside Jumpster). Management has stated that it has several free-to-play games in the pipeline for both 2013 and 2014 and Pet Zoometery is apparently the first in line.
A successful new free-to-play title is highly welcome, just in-time for the upcoming relisting to Nasdaq OMX. Q3 and Q4 can be interesting indeed for G5 Entertainment and its investors.
