Secret Society top grossing rankings on iPad:
Secret Society is without any doubt the most important income generator for G5 at this point. The company does not disclose just exactly how much the game contributed to its Q2 results, which were somewhat weaker than from us expected, looking at the preliminary numbers presented last week. Q2 had only very limited impact from the Google Play version of Secret Society so any additional improvements here should add to the game’s overall momentum. This is urgently needed as Q3 2012 was very strong and presents a tough comparison base for G5. Q3 2012 was boosted by exceptional success from Virtual City Playground. Encouragingly, G5 announced today that it has published a long awaited for its free-to-play game, including new social features. It will be interesting to see whether G5 can manage to have two high revenue generating games at the same time. In such a case, Q3 2013 could indeed present a quarter of high y-o-y growth again!
