Our current trading idea Glu Mobile had a very poor week last week and saw its share price getting slaughtered by more than 20% on Friday. The company’s Q4 guidance was way below analyst expectations, partly due the postponement of 5 games which were supposed to be released under Q4 but are now under review. Also, Glu’s Q3 releases had developed below the company’s expectations. However,, judging from our most recent ranking check, Glu games are selling increasingly well at the beginning of Q4. As of today, Glu Mobile has no less than 15 top 10 grossing ranks and 121 top 100 grossing ranks. This has to mean big bucks for the company and if Glu manages to keep these rankings, it’s Q4 guidance might turn out to be too conservative after all.
