This week’s ranking check for our top pick G5 Entertainment shows a continuously steady trend in terms of G5 games among the top grossing games for iOS. Naturally, we would prefer if one of the recent launches had made it to the top in terms of top grossing but G5 games still continue to deliver solid rankings overall. The company’s strategy is to have a broad portfolio of income generating games rather than focusing on a few blockbuster hits (which are usually much more expensive to develop). This reduces the dependency on a few titles and history has shown that G5 is executing this strategy well.
G5 Entertainment’s CEO Vlad Suglobov will be in Stockholm next week for the extra-ordinary general meeting on Wednesday. In connection with his visit, he will also meet investors. For those of you who are from Stockholm, you can sign up for the presentation here: http://www.introduce.se/artiklar/2012/10/g5-entertainment-afternoon-tea-3110. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say about e.g. Jumpster and potential plans to adapt the monetization system of the game. We will keep you updated as usual.
(We are screening the app markets of Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA).
